How much should I charge for advertising sponsorship?

About $5 per thousand ad views is pretty cheap with a bonus for clicks.

What you are really selling is "views." How many people (prospects) will see the suppliers' ads on the side of your trailer? If it's parked on a side street, there will be few views. If it's constantly on the Interstate highway system, there will be thousands per day. The size of their ad is also a factor.

Major media charge on a "cost per thousand" basis. You can get an idea of what they do charge by checking online for media rates for newspapers, magazines, etc.

For this question, there's no simple answer, but this should give you an idea on where to start.
Reply:Ask the suppliers about "co-op" advertising/marketing funds - many companies that sell thru dealers have a pre-defined program for helping pay some of your advertising. The bad ones are just lame and restrictive, but the good ones can help you with all sorts of ideas and $ and resources.
