Hum drum commercial advertising for bikers...?

If you're at a bike festival and some solicitors turn up with a stand, what would make you talk to them? In particular, what advertising (particularly posters or banners).

Please keep in mind that you wouldn't want to see these solicitors wearing next to nothing trying to look glamourous draped over a bike! And they wouldn't want to tarnish their image by having someone else do so either, especially if it meant paying them!

I would have to have an interest in what they were selling. So the banner would have to indicate the booth had something of interest to me.
Reply:Sounds like they are at the wrong venue, to me.
Reply:Free give aways has always done it for me. I had progressive insurance and was sure I was paying the lowest price. As I was walking by Geico's stand somebody gave me a Geico pin and a rag. Got my attention and showed me that I was paying too much for my insurance. They saved me about $125. Posters, banners, and scantly clad girls don't do it for me. A booth with more than one person who knows what they are talking about, outside the booth handing out freebies are the ones that get my attention. I think the problem with most booths is, they have one person who sits behind a table often looking as though they hate going to these shows. When you ask about their products they either can't answer the question and hand you a card or brochure or they are too busy to answer questions. Personal appearance is also another, if some girl is sitting behind the table working on her nails, forget it! Another example, I walked up to a food booth and the guy who came to wait on me had piercings in his nose, lip, eyebrows, and ears. The earrings he had were the type that spread a big hole in the lobes. Who ever thought this guy represents the biker image made a mistake. I was so repulsed, I said never mind and walked away.
Reply:Odd question! Is there an answer? No.
Reply:And on the subject of advertising, what are your thoughts on the Bennett's adverts (on Eurosport)?

I like the images of "real" people with their bikes, but why the funereal music?
Reply:I'm with Eric on this one.common sense stuff.
