No, I don't think advertising is partly to blame for the problems with young people drinking because I'm from Norway, and its not allowed to show commercials of alcohol related products here but young people still drink to much in the weekends.


I don't think advertisement will encourage people to drink, only what to drink.

Reply:I cant understand how people believe advertising can be to blame for teenages drinking. There is hardly any advertising for alcohol and it especially isnt aimed at teenages. The adverts seem to be more grown up and you never see the advertising of alcopops which happens to be the most or one of the most popular drink amongst under aged drinkers. I actually think that the advertising of alcopops is banned. teenages drink because adults are constantly telling them they shouldn't. Teenages rebel, its what they do.
